Starting Jan. 22, middle school and high school students will need to use a pass to ride a school bus. (Elementary students already have passes.)

The pass confirms students are on the right bus before their trip starts. If parents and guardians have the My Ride K-12 app, the pass allows them to see when and where their child gets on and off the bus.

Students will get their pass from their school. If your child rides the bus and does not have a pass by Jan. 22, contact your school. 

Students receiving special education transportation do not carry a pass, but they receive the benefits of the pass through services provided by their bus driver.
