Attendance & Tardiness Procedures

School attendance is one of the major factors that impacts student progress. There is a direct relationship between a student’s absences and their struggles in school. Attending school every day and being on time are the first steps to school success. Students must be in their first class by 8 a.m.
Students may earn incentive prizes for great attendance, including free dress days, snacks, and other items.

Discipline Policies

The following section provides information on the kinds of consequences you can expect if you break rules at Stewart Middle School. Consequences get tougher as the offense becomes more severe or if you don’t follow through with the consequences assigned for prior offenses.
