Our Mission

At Stewart we build individuals, community, and the future.

We collaborate, open our practice, pursue meaningful professional development, and relentlessly strive for excellence.

We partner with the community to promote positive experiences for students outside the classroom, encourage them to explore their interests, and spark their ideas about making their mark in a global society.

We engage the whole child to shape resilient students who grab hold of their learning, thrive in these middle years, and succeed here, in high school, and beyond.

Classroom Expectations- Participate to learn!

Our teachers and staff use these expectations to maintain good order and discipline at school.

Attendance & Tardiness Procedures

School attendance is one of the major factors that impacts student progress. There is a direct relationship between a student’s absences and their struggles in school. Attending school every day and being on time are the first steps to school success. Students must be in their first class by 8 a.m.
Students may earn incentive prizes for great attendance, including free dress days, snacks, and other items.

Discipline Policies

The following section provides information on the kinds of consequences you can expect if you break rules at Stewart Middle School. Consequences get tougher as the offense becomes more severe or if you don’t follow through with the consequences assigned for prior offenses.
